Zenith is a software designed for Kreon level arm measuring machines, including essential basic functions for touch and scanning measurement. The software is compatible with all Kreon measuring devices. The software can quickly handle large point clouds and allows for the direct extraction of geometric features from a CAD image and their comparison to actual measurements. Of course, the software can also be used to create, for example, a color map comparison, which enables the quality assurance of even the most complex surfaces.

Zenith 3D scanning and CAD analysis
Kreon Zenith is high-performance metrology software that enables fast and efficient processing of point cloud data without slowing down the system. The software offers advanced tools for data management, such as intelligent filtering features for optimising file size and functions for quickly removing unnecessary areas. The user can perform accurate CAD comparisons by aligning scanned data to the CAD model using Landmark and Best-fit methods, after which deviations are visualised with a clear colour map. In addition, Zenith allows direct extraction of geometric shapes from the CAD model, so measured data can be compared to theoretical values with extreme accuracy.
Geometric measurement and calibration
Kreon Zenith enhances the geometric measurement process by providing a fast and effortless tool environment for creating and calibrating probes. The software enables direct collection of geometric elements as well as measuring CAD model entities with contact measurement, ensuring high accuracy in mechanical inspections. Accurate part alignment is achieved flexibly either using three geometric elements or by using the traditional “plane, line, point” method. All measured and defined geometric elements are easily exportable for further processing in standard IGES file format, ensuring seamless data transfer between other design and manufacturing software.
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing inspections (GD&T)
Kreon Zenith utilises GD&T standards to accurately define the permissible deviations of part geometry, ensuring complete part compatibility and functionality. The software enables comprehensive analysis covering form tolerances such as flatness, cylindricity and roundness, as well as orientation tolerances including perpendicularity, parallelism and angularity. The system also inspects location tolerances such as concentricity and accurate position relative to references. With this standardised method, manufacturing errors can be verified with mathematical accuracy, minimising scrap rates and ensuring technical requirements are met in even the most demanding industrial applications.
Automatic reporting
Kreon Zenith makes the final documentation of quality assurance effortless with automatic reporting. The process proceeds as follows:
