Akyapak AHK Press – Powerful Shaping Without Power Loss

Akyapak’s AHK series hydraulic three-roller plate rounding machines offer a top-tier solution for rounding metal plates in demanding production environments. The machines are suitable for processing both thin and thick plates, with capacities covering plate thicknesses from 2 millimeters up to 200 millimeters, and plate widths ranging from 500 millimeters up to 12,000 millimeters. This allows the AHK series machines to meet the diverse needs of various industries.

All three rollers operate independently using hydraulic motors and gearboxes, enabling smooth and efficient shaping. Standard equipment includes a spherical rounding device, which allows for the production of precise and uniform spherical parts. The rollers are induction hardened, ensuring their long service life and mechanical durability even under continuous use. The position of the side rollers can be easily checked via a digital display, which simplifies operation and increases working accuracy.

The machine frame is made of robust ST-52 steel, assembled by welding, which ensures stable and vibration-free operation. The dual-speed rounding feature allows the user to adjust the working speed according to the material. The machine also has a hydraulic end cover, which facilitates the removal of the finished part, as well as a separate movable control panel, which provides additional flexibility in use.

The AHK series is also available with various accessories that allow the machine to be customized to meet the specific needs of the production environment. These include adjustable rotational speed, side and center supports for handling large-sized plates, a material feeding table to ensure ergonomic feeding, and a replaceable upper roller for using different diameters. The system allows for the import of web pages against the top plate at a wider angle. This reduces the length of the remaining straight edge with lower power consumption, saving energy and improving the accuracy of the bending process.

The AHK-welder’s frame structure is designed using an analysis based on the finite element method (FEM) to achieve optimal strength and rigidity. This results in significantly reduced bending loads, ensuring safer operation and extending the machine’s lifespan.

The AHK series upper support facilitates the handling of large-sized and thin materials, such as thin sheets. Its purpose is to prevent deformation and distortions caused by its own weight during machining, especially at the upper edge of the sheet. Side supports, in turn, ensure the correct alignment of the sheet and prevent it from hanging down during rolling. These features prevent shape changes and dimensional deviations, ensuring the high quality of the finished product.
