4-Axis Guillotine Shears Excellent Solutions for Large Challenges

The Akyap AHS model 4-axis guillotine shear offers reliable and excellent solutions for precise and challenging thin sheet metal rounding applications. The AHS is the most economical choice for bending materials with sheet thicknesses of 2 mm – 200 mm and sheet widths of 500 mm – 12 000 mm.

Precise, Productive and Reliable

In addition to being reliable, the AHS increases productivity with its fast rolling capabilities and is able to handle even the most challenging curves thanks to its ease of use. Because the sheet is pressed during rolling, material sliding and movement is prevented. This results in more reliable and precise valving operations.

Fewer Uneven Ends in One Pass

A full cylinder can be achieved in one cycle with AHS 4-Roll Machines machines because material can be pressed against the lower beam during bending and pre-bending. The AHS model allows for precise pressing of the sheet between the upper and lower beams, minimizing the length of flat ends. Central Support and Side Supports

AHS series central support facilitates the handling of large and thin materials, such as sheet metal. It is designed to prevent deformation and distortion due to its own weight during welding, especially in the upper position. Side supports also help keep the sheet in the correct alignment and prevent it from hanging down during bending processes. These support functions prevent deformation and ensure that no measurement deviations occur in the finished product.

AHS is a high-power bending center with seamless joint between the axes that guarantees deformation-free bending.The system ensures even pressure distribution, which guarantees a consistent and high-quality result.

 

Advanced software enhances high-volume production

Robust Frame Structure

The AHS series frame is designed using an analysis based on the finite element method (FEM), which ensures optimal strength and stiffness. This reduces bending loads significantly, ensuring the safe use of the machine and extending its service life.

Optimized energy efficiency with planetary sprockets

The system enables a wider approach angle to the upper sheet from the side. This allows the length of the straight head to be reduced with lower pressing force, saving energy. At the same time, it improves the accuracy of the bending process.
