MVD iBend B Series – Versatile and Precise CNC Press Brakes
The MVD iBend B series hydraulic CNC press brake offers an excellent combination of accuracy, durability, and versatility. The machines are specifically designed for demanding bending applications requiring high performance and precise repeatability.
The machine frame and upper tool are made of welded steel structure designed to minimize deflection and maximize rigidity. This structure ensures the machine’s long service life and accurate performance even under heavy use. The iBend B series machines are equipped with three-axis CNC control (Y1, Y2, X), and can be extended to up to eight axes (Y1, Y2, X1, X2, R1, R2, Z1, Z2) as needed.
The machine bending stroke is 260 mm and the throat depth is 410 mm, which allows for versatile use in various bending operations. Optional features of the machine include, among other things, a motorized crowning system, extended back gauge and various tool solutions. The control system is ESA S630 CNC controller with a 10-inch touchscreen and 2D graphics. The controller allows control of up to four automatic axes and includes a tool library and bending sequence programming. The machine can also use other control systems, such as DELEM DA-53T or CybTouch 8, according to the customer’s needs.
The back gauge is servo-controlled and its accuracy is ±0.03 mm. The back gauge has two three-stage fingers that can be moved manually along the linear slide. The machine also has sliding front supports which facilitate the handling of large and heavy sheets. Standard tools include a 104 mm high, 85-degree and R:0.8 mm radius swan-neck upper tool, as well as a 60×60 mm, four V-groove (16, 22, 35 and 50 mm) 85-degree and 60 mm high lower tool. The machine also has MVD’s special wide base table (European type) and Promecam type quick-release tool holders.
Safety features include Fiessler AKAS II-F laser safety system (CE Class IV) and back protection based on photoelectric sensors. The machine also has LED lighting in the RAM arm, which improves visibility and working comfort. The MVD iBend B series press brakes are available in different tonnage ranges (40–320 tons) and bending lengths (1250–6100 mm), allowing the machine to be customized to the customer’s needs.

CNC-controlled X-axis
The rear stroke depth adjustment works accurately via CNC control. Standard equipment also includes manually adjustable R- (height) and Z-axes (lateral).
Sliding Front Wishbones
MVD B-series standard equipment includes two linear guide-supported front wishbones. They support the workpiece, prevent sheet metal deflection, and facilitate material handling. The wishbones are adjustable in height for different auxiliary tools and can be moved sideways across the entire machine length.
Quick Mounting / Promecam
Standard European (Amada/Promecam) quick lock, where tools can be changed from side to side or vertically (depending on the model).
ESA S630 CNC control
Standardly delivered ESA S630 is a user-friendly 10” 2D touchscreen control that automates the bending process. It automatically calculates the bending sequence, the required pressing force, and the positioning of the rear support based on the supplied sheet data. The control synchronizes the Y1-, Y2- and X-axes in real time, includes a comprehensive tool library and enables program transfers via USB connection.
