iECHO PK Plus – Intelligent and Automatic Finishing Solution
iECHO PK Plus is a fully automatic and intelligent digital cutting system designed specifically for the needs of advertising, printing and packaging industries. It is an ideal solution for creating samples as well as short, customized production runs. The PK Plus model stands out from the basic model particularly due to its more versatile tool set and ability to handle thicker materials.
The core of the device is its fully automated operation. The system is equipped with an automatic vacuum suction system based on vacuum cups and a lift table, which allows for continuous feeding of boards without the operator’s constant supervision. A key technical feature is a high-resolution CCD camera system that automatically detects the alignment marks on the printed products. This ensures extremely precise contour cutting and corrects any distortions that may occur during printing. Furthermore, the system supports barcode reading, which speeds up the workflow by automatically retrieving the correct cutting files from the database.
The biggest difference compared to the standard PK model is the included oscillating knife (EOT) in the PK Plus series. Thanks to this tool, the device can cut a much wider range of materials, as it is capable of penetrating materials up to 6 millimeters thick. It is suitable for materials such as corrugated cardboard, foam boards, expanded cardboard and ABS plastic. The device includes the oscillating knife, a guillotine shear for cutting through the material and a notch tool for creating folds.
PK Plus is available in two different sizes, with the larger PK0705 Plus offering a working area of 750 x 530 millimeters. The maximum speed of the device is one thousand millimeters per second, which makes it extremely efficient considering its small size. It is a perfect tool for companies that manufacture, for example, individual packaging, cut-to-size labels, small shop advertisements or signage. In summary, iECHO PK Plus is a cost-effective and space-saving investment that brings the benefits of digital contour cutting directly to the printing houses’ workshops, eliminating the need for expensive and slow stamping tools.
