Huvema ES Series electrical mechanical sheet metal shears, such as models HU 1300×4 ES and HU 2550×4 ES, are designed for demanding industrial thin sheet metal processing, where precision and structural durability are emphasized. The machine frame is made of heavy, welded steel, which minimizes deformation during the cutting operation and ensures a stable operating environment. The mechanical power transmission is implemented with maintenance-free bearings, which ensures a long service life and high utilization rate with minimal maintenance costs.

Technical performance is based on a powerful 4 kilowatt motor, which allows both models to achieve a cutting capacity of up to 4 millimeters in steel. HU 1300×4 ES offers a cutting width of 1300 millimeters, while the larger HU 2550×4 ES expands the processing area to 2550 millimeters, enabling efficient handling of full sheet metal blanks. Both machines utilize a fixed 2.4 degree cutting angle, which is optimized to balance the cutting force requirement and the straightness of the finished product. The impact frequency is set at 30 impacts per minute, making the series a fast solution for mass production.

Device control takes place via an integrated PLC system and a Finnish language touchscreen. The interface allows for precise adjustment of the back gauge up to 630 millimeters, ensuring repeatable dimensional accuracy between 0.5 and 1.0 millimeters. Working ergonomics have been improved with pivoting guide rails embedded in the table, which facilitates the positioning of heavy sheets while also protecting the material surface from damage.
