Efficient Solutions for Industrial Needs

GAV-AI-based guidance and verification system

Improve production efficiency and accuracy with AI-powered control and real-time part verification. The system creates automatic tool paths and offers comprehensive traceability.

GAV -AI Based Guidance and Verification System

InspecVision’s GAV is an AI-based guidance and verification system developed to improve the accuracy and traceability of manual and robot-controlled work steps. While mass production automation has evolved significantly in recent decades, support tools for manual assembly have lagged behind. GAV solves this deficit by utilizing machine vision, which is capable of perceiving its environment in 2D, 3D, and 4D formats.

The system creates automated work instructions by following and learning the work steps performed by an experienced operator. When a task is repeated, GAV guides the worker by projecting augmented reality (AR) instructions and step-by-step videos directly onto the work area. At the same time, the system performs real-time quality assurance by comparing the performance to a stored 3D model, ensuring the correctness of each part and work step. All operations are recorded for comprehensive historical data, enabling complete traceability.

Applications cover a wide range of three-dimensional assembly tasks, such as welding, printed circuit board mounting, cable assembly manufacturing, and thin sheet metal fitting installation. In welding applications, the system verifies the position of jigs, components, and welding points, as well as the quality of the weld seam. In thin sheet metal manufacturing, it ensures that components and fittings are installed precisely in the correct locations.

GAV is a technically independent system that includes a projector, a camera, and a computer with standard connections. The system can be mounted fixedly above the workstation or placed on a mobile stand in flexible environments. Daily operation is optimized for ergonomics with a foot pedal, and programming can be carried out flexibly using a tablet or traditional peripherals. The strength of the system is based specifically on learning from practical work steps, rather than theoretical CAD data, which makes it exceptionally adaptable to real production conditions.

Integrated Unit

The GAV is compact using all-in-one technology: camera, projector and computer are in the same unit. It is installed above the workstation or on a stand. The system integrates easily with a foot pedal, tablet and network connections, enabling fast deployment without heavy programming or large space requirements.

Assembly Quality Assurance

GAV revolutionizes manual quality assurance: it <bCannon verifies 3D shapes in real-time and prevents errors before the next stage. The system ensures the correct position, posture and fastening of components. Each stage is digitally recorded (2D/3D/4D), which guarantees full traceability and eliminates the possibility of human inspection errors.
