Solid Cast Iron Frame
The VB series machines are built on a robust cast iron frame, which is optimized to efficiently dampen vibrations and thermal deformations. This ensures exceptional stability, excellent surface quality, and long tool life in demanding high-speed machining and heavy working in all conditions.
Cased Frame Column and Saddle
The symmetrical cased structure of the column and saddle maximizes torsional rigidity and vibration damping. This robust design ensures geometric accuracy is maintained during heavy blanking, minimizes thermal deformation and allows for excellent surface quality in demanding high-speed machining across the machine’s wide range of motion.
Quad-Bar Support Structure
The foundation’s quad-bar hard rail structure provides exceptional support for the Y-axis throughout its full travel range. This robust design distributes the load evenly, minimizes saddle deflection and ensures maximum torsional stiffness as well as accuracy in heavy cutting operations in demanding machining conditions.
Straight Draw Head (DDS)

Belt and Gear System Options
