The iShear A series mechanical guillotine shear is designed for precise and reliable cutting of thin sheet metal in production environments that require repeatable quality and effortless operation. The machine frame and upper blade are constructed from a rigid, welded monoblock structure, which minimizes deflection and ensures a consistent cut edge across the entire cutting width. The structure is machined with precision-NC machining centers, which guarantees high dimensional accuracy and long service life.
The heart of the shear is the ELGO P40T touchscreen NC control, which makes settings clear and fast. The motor-driven backgauge, guided by NC, moves continuously up to 750 millimeters, enabling precise positioning of the sheet without manual adjustment. The upper blade is double-blade and the lower blade is four-blade, made of high-tensile and high-chrome steel, which extends the blade life and reduces maintenance needs. The mechanical sheet holding device ensures that the material remains stable throughout the entire cutting process, and the sharp gap adjustment mechanism facilitates the handling of materials of different thicknesses.
Machine operation is designed to be safe and comfortable. The front table ball bearings facilitate sheet movement, and the front supports and measuring scales support even large parts. Cutting line lighting improves visibility, and safety devices – such as the front guard, rear safety rails and emergency stop – meet CE requirements. Optional accessories, such as a longer backgauge, pneumatic sheet supports and angle finder, expand the machine’s possibilities and make it an even more versatile production tool.
iShear A series offers a balanced combination of accuracy, durability and ease of use. It is ideally suited for cutting thin sheet metal up to six millimeters thick and provides a reliable solution for companies that value efficient and carefully designed cutting technology.

Value Added Tax
