BaronMax VM series large machining centre

Economical for large machining areas, CNC vertical milling centres are suitable for large parts in small series, as well as for large mould manufacturing. This large machining centre is equipped with a large working table and a powerful spindle. The large machining centres of the Baron-MAX VM series are designed based on a bed-type milling machine, which allows for an affordable price level for a robust and solid milling centre compared to enclosed large machining centres. VM series machines are particularly cost-effective solutions for components that require long machining travel from the milling machine. The VM series is available with X-axis travel of 750 mm, 1000 mm, 1300 mm, 1500 mm, 1700 mm, 2000 mm & 3000 mm. The Y-axis is available with a travel of up to 900 mm. The Z-axis is 450-750mm. The models of the VM series from smallest to largest are: VM18, VM20, VM25, VM26, VM28, VM30, VM35, VM36 and VM38. VM Series teach-in machines

The machining centres of the VM series are the best choice for machining large and heavy moulds. The machine’s table load capacity of up to 3000 kg allows for machining large and heavy moulds and other exceptionally heavy parts. The machine’s partly enclosed sides allow for machining of excessively long parts. The machines can be used manually, semi-automatically, teach-in or fully CNC-controlled. The heavy, ribbed and released Meehanite cast iron frame is excellent for the stability of the machining centre. The bearings are coated with Turcit-B, as well as manually scraped for good quality assurance. The ball screws have a diameter of 40 mm and ball nuts are available in pairs.
