Laser Protection Solutions for Manual Laser Applications
JUTEC GmbH manufactures protective equipment for both fixed and mobile solutions. Laser protection systems provide the necessary protection for humans and machines in all situations. In laser protection, we offer passive and active solutions. Passive laser protection typically allows for short-term protection against laser radiation. Passive laser protection solutions were a sufficient solution for hand-operated laser cutting machines. However, due to the significant increase in available laser power in recent years, passive laser protection solutions are approaching their limits. JUTEC GmbH specializes in laser protection and offers the first unique and high-quality active and passive laser protection solutions – tested for high-power applications up to 12 kW laser power.
Passive Laser Protection
Passive protective fabric is multi-layered and protects in hand-held, low-power laser welding and cleaning. The inner surface of the fabric is pearl white which withstands the necessary laser radiation on hand-operated laser cutting machines. The strong reflections of the laser are visible as color variations in the pearl white surface.

Laser protection systems do not always need to be permanently installed – a temporary or permanent workspace definition is suitable for the aluminum profile-based moving swivel arm frame-equipped “LaserSafe” solution. It is equipped with active or passive laser protection textiles and offers the best mobility and safety when using laser applications. It is particularly suitable for portable laser welding systems and handheld cleaning devices for use with lasers.
