CNC-long-turning machine, also known as a long-turning automation or bar automation, also referred to as a Swiss-type turning machine, where instead of a tool, a pallet moves in the Z-direction. The turning machine has a bar feed device and a control bushing. The CNC-long-turning machine is a turning machine that differs from traditional turning machines. It has multiple tools around the workpiece in vises. The latest models have three slides (each slide with its own Z-movement and two tools) controllable simultaneously in extremely fast part production. Bar automation according to the traditional model, but “with the twist” as the Americans say, i.e., each slide has a Z-axis and up to two tools per slide.

Multi is a quite ingenious invention. It combines high-speed tool clamping, multi-tool multi-channel simultaneous turning control and CNC technology. Multi is not Swiss-type but a model with a fixed pallet block, but it is also a bar automation and very suitable for the fast production of specific types of parts. It can currently machine four tools at once and, of course, an auxiliary pallet is also an optional accessory so that the workpiece is finished with one clamping.
