The LV Flex CNC precision laser sets new standards for medical technology and precision mechanics. This highly flexible, compact CNC precision welding machine with up to five axes combines fully automated laser welding technology with accurate and safe manual welding. The LV Flex’s compact structure (895 mm x 1100 mm x 1700 mm) offers a unique combination of flexibility and functionality. The machine can be converted from a fully automatic CNC system to an ergonomic manual welding station with a few simple actions, enabling versatile use and easy adaptation to different working environments and tasks.

The machine offers ergonomic adjustment options for working height, flexible operating positions and a versatile control system. These features make the LV Flex a truly multipurpose solution in a compact space. The LV Flex combines all the advantages of LASERVORM laser welding machines for medical technology. Its adaptive handling, automatic and manual operation, NC-integrated logging function for accurate traceability, and PMS market-surveillance system and MDR-compliant production ensure a high-level and reliable welding process without contact, using a laser.
Flexible operation
LV Flex uses highly advanced control technology based on reliable and tested base machines such as the LV Midi. This technology enables extremely accurate control of machine components with sub-microsecond delay, resulting in optimally synchronised laser pulsing during dynamic motion phases. The integrated logging and tracking function makes monitoring, error analysis, and effortless traceability for market surveillance (PMS) easier.
Flexible laser technology
Thanks to its advanced fibre laser technology, the LV Flex supports continuous, pulsed and modulated operation in the 15–1500 watt power range. This versatility enables precise laser welding of various materials such as stainless steel, Phynox and titanium, with weld depths over 1 mm and seam widths down to 75 µm.
