Akyapak AKD Series Profile Punching and Cutting Lines

AKD is an efficient and versatile steel sheet punching and cutting line designed to maximize productivity in steel structure manufacturing. It accurately and quickly processes steel sheets, profiles, and U-profiles, and is suitable for the production of, for example, power and telecommunication towers, tower structures, and components for oil refineries. The system has two punching units with 48-ton hydraulic cylinders and three workstations for different hole shapes. The cutting unit utilizes 192 tons of force for clean and fast cutting. An automatic feeding and loading system reduces manual labor, improves processing speed, and ensures a consistent end result.

Punching Unit

The punching unit has a special hydraulic construction that includes 48-ton leak-free pistons. They withstand high pressure and perform punching quickly and accurately. Each hydraulic unit has three punching stations that allow for the creation of shaped holes, such as squares, rectangles, and notches.

Marking Unit

The Marking Unit is hydraulically operated and allows for the use of up to 8 characters (including letters and numbers) in the magazine. The system can accommodate 8 magazines. All characters are pressed simultaneously, and the marking of one magazine takes approximately 4 seconds. The markings remain clear even after painting or spray cleaning processes.

Cutting Unit

The Cutting Unit is made to a very precise standard, and it uses a 192 ton piston for metal cutting with a single, rapid movement. The blade corners can be adjusted to suit various cuts.

Positioning with Feed Rod

The feed rod is designed to accurately position profiles utilizing a sophisticated gear system. The feed rod enables the movement of profiles forward and backward. This allows for more efficient processing and minimizes material waste compared to traditional roller systems.

Automatic Material Loading Arm

The loading arm automatically transfers materials from feed tables to conveyors, eliminating the need for manual labor.

Software

AKD Designer has been developed to enable smooth and easy machine operation. It features a user-friendly interface and intelligent design that offers strong programming capabilities. The software includes an auto-nesting module for optimal material usage. Users can preview parts in 3D format, and DSTV files can be imported into the program for modification or to create CNC files.
