MVD iBend S series – Fully electric servo press brake for modern production
The MVD iBend S series CNC servo press brake offers top-class performance and accuracy for demanding bending applications. The machines are designed especially for industrial needs requiring efficient and versatile bending capacity.
S-series machines use a screw-driven servo system, in which two synchronised servo motors transfer rotary motion directly to high-capacity ball screws. This enables accurate and repeatable bending without the delays caused by a hydraulic system.
The machines are equipped with four-axis CNC control (Y1, Y2, X, R), and they can be expanded to up to seven axes as needed. The control system is the ESA S630 CNC controller, which offers an intuitive user interface and accurate control. The machine can also use other control systems, such as CybTouch 8, according to the customer’s needs.
The back gauge is servo-controlled with an accuracy of ±0.03 mm. The back gauge has two three-step fingers that can be adjusted micrometrically. The machine also has sliding front sheet supports that facilitate handling of large and heavy sheets.
Standard tooling includes a 805 mm long upper tool with 85 degrees and R:0.8 mm radius, and a 805 mm long 85-degree lower tool with four V-grooves (16, 22, 35 and 50 mm). The machine also has MVD’s specially manufactured narrow lower table (European type) and Promecam-type quick clamping for upper tools.
Safety features include a front laser protection system and rear protection based on photocells. The machine also has LED lighting in the RAM section, improving visibility and working comfort.
The MVD iBend S series press brakes are available in various tonnage classes (20–60 tons) and bending lengths (950–2100 mm), allowing the machine to be tailored to the customer’s needs.
