Huvema HU 13-2 N is a vertical drill machine designed for industrial use and precise maintenance, combining a robust structure with space-saving design. The machine’s base is a massive cast iron frame and a sturdy steel pillar, which together minimize vibration during drilling and ensure smooth machine travel.

Power transmission is provided by a reliable short-circuit motor, which delivers 0.4 kilowatts at normal mains voltage. The user can select one of five different speed ranges from 500 to 2500 rpm, allowing for precise optimization of the cutting speed according to the hardness of the material being processed and the size of the drill bit. Drilling capacity in steel is 13 millimeters, and the B16 carriage mount allows for the use of the most common spindles. The carriage travel is equipped with a clear scale and adjustable depth stop, making batch work effortless.

The workbench is 195 x 196 millimeters in size and has two 16 millimeter T-slots milled into it for the secure positioning of machining presses or other fasteners. The workbench height is adjusted with a mechanical ratchet, providing sufficient distance from the machine for versatile workpieces. Work safety has been considered comprehensively according to CE standards, including a centrally located emergency stop button, adjustable machine guard, and a safety enclosure with a safety switch for the belt cover.
