The Shinzawa SDC series two-column machining centre is specifically designed for accurate, efficient and fast machining of large and complex parts. These Taiwan-manufactured machines combine a robust mechanical structure, high rigidity and top-tier technology solutions. SDC-series machines are optimised for heavy cutting applications requiring both high machining power and dimensional accuracy. The machines’ sturdy cast-iron frames, FEM-analysed structures and high-performance spindles ensure excellent performance even in demanding conditions. They are excellently suited to aerospace, automotive, energy and mould industries, where wide, heavy or precision parts are machined. Portal Structure

Honeycomb Structure

The internal honeycomb structure of the columns and crossbars maximizes the rigidity and lightness of the frame. This optimized casting effectively dampens vibrations and prevents warping caused by thermal expansion, ensuring exceptional dimensional accuracy and surface quality in large-scale machining.

Enclosure Structure

A massive and rigid enclosure structure is designed to maximize torsional stiffness and effectively dampen vibrations. Support

Three-Axis Roller Chains
