3-roller variable-geometry plate rollers – Versatile power

Akyapak’s AHV series hydraulic three-roller plate rolls offer an efficient and flexible solution for rolling metal sheets. The roll is built with a variable-geometry structure enabling independent movement of three rollers: the top roller moves vertically and the side rollers horizontally. This structure enables accurate and efficient handling of various workpieces.

AHV-series machines are suitable for sheets with thickness ranging from 85 mm to 260 mm and width from 3,600 mm to 7,000 mm. The machine’s frame is made of welded ST-52 steel, and all rollers are mounted in spherical roller bearings, ensuring durability and long life. The rollers are induction-hardened, increasing their wear resistance. The machines have an electronic parallelism system, ensuring synchronised motion of the rollers. A separate movable control panel allows easy and safe operation of the machine. The hydraulically opening and closing drop end facilitates removal of the finished workpiece from the machine. In addition, the machines have a cone-rolling device, with which accurate conical workpieces can be made.

A variety of accessories are available for AHV-series machines, including adjustable rotation speed, material feeding table, oil cooling system and centre supports and side supports for handling large sheets. An interchangeable top roller is also available for special needs.

The Akyapak AHV-series plate roll meets international quality and safety standards such as CE marking, ISO 9001:2015 certification, TSEK and TURQUM certifications.

Strength and Flexibility

The AHV series’ performance is based on its robust structure, which enables the effortless handling of various materials and strengths. The machine’s flexibility is based on adjustable geometry, thanks to which it is excellent for very variable bending radii and diverse parts.

Accuracy and Productivity

When bending the largest thicknesses, the guides can be positioned symmetrically on both sides, while for controlling the straight ends, the guides can be set asymmetrically to achieve an accurate bending result.

Robust Frame Structure

The AHK series frame is designed using an analysis based on the finite element method (FEM), which ensures the structure’s optimal strength and stiffness. This reduces bending loads significantly, ensuring the machine’s safe operation and extending its service life.

Electronic Parallel Control

The AKYAPAK electronic parallel control system is designed to produce accurate and uniform U-extrusion results. The system’s longevity is ensured by its ability to maintain continuous accuracy. The system utilizes PLC-controlled proportional valves that maintain the balance between the rollers and enable their mutual communication.
