Highly Performance Motor Spindle
The highly performance motor spindle is suitable for demanding machining applications. The large-precision vertical/dividing spindle works like a dividing head at low speeds and like a milling head at high speeds.
Tooling Flexibility
Milling/turning machines can be equipped with a three-position back machining revolver device, giving various possibilities, e.g. for a fixture, a tool post or a counterforce. Milling/turning machines can also be equipped with a bar pusher or tank feeders, handling systems and automation according to what the customer’s parts need. Various tool magazines and auxiliary devices, such as filter units, chip conveyors and measuring devices, combined with palletizing devices, increase the machining potential.

701S: The Revolution in Machining Centers
The 701s, a 3-axis parallel kinematics machining center with micron machining accuracies, presented at EMO Hanover in September 2013, is itself a revolution. High speed, efficiency, micron accuracy and extreme quality. Thanks to the strategy of machining by interpolation and with light moving masses, measured cycle times for customer parts have shown 3–5-fold improvements. The machining center requires only a small floor area (1 m2) and its energy consumption is low – the machine consumes less than a hairdryer. Technically, the machining center receives praise for its speed, accuracy and surface quality.
No More Tool Holders, New Tools
In the new machining strategy, the values defined by the manufacturers are mandatory. On the spindle, a typical mechanical component, machining from different sides and a little turning is performed. Tool clamping by restricting air without any holders greatly helps in accuracy together with these tools developed for this machine. The 701s also includes a vision system to check the tool position and a measuring sensor system to ensure the correct placement of the part.
